  1. Hello. I would like to report a problem with the blackwater skies program, because after saving the settings of the camera and telescope type, the program freezes and does not respond, the sky map is not working.

    1. Hi Cris, everything appears to be working normally for me. Can you try a few things please:

      – Clear browser cache, cookies and local storage for this site.
      – Force a complete reload of the page (e.g. holding the shift key and clicking the reload button in chrome).
      – Make sure you aren’t blocking anything in the browser or with an add-on. The site uses HTML5 Local Storage (similar to cookies) to store the settings in your browser.

If you’ve got any old files or settings hanging around since the last update that might cause a problem. Camera and telescope settings haven’t changed at all and should carry over from the previous version fine, but I guess that could be a bug.

If you’re still experiencing problems after that, I’ll need more information:

      a) Which operating system, browser and browser version are you using?
      b) Open the developer tools and look for any red error messages in the ‘console’ section when you try to save the settings. Let me know what they are.

      Thanks
